Armed robbery, Glass House Mountains

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Glass House Mountains service station this morning, Queensland Police say.

At 2am, a man armed with a gun entered the Steve Irwin May business, threatened a male staff member and demanded cash.

He stole a sum of money and left the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle.

The man is described as being Aboriginal in appearance, aged in his 20s with a heavy build, and was wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt and a white ski mask.

Investigations are continuing.
