Armed robbery in Biggera Waters, QLD

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery in the car park of a shopping centre in Biggera Waters overnight, Queensland Police say.

At around 11:20pm a man approached a man and a woman who were sitting in a parked vehicle before producing a knife and demanding property.

The pair complied with the man’s demands, handing over personal items before the man fled the scene in another car, which had been parked nearby.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180cm tall and of a medium build.

The vehicle is described as a dark coloured sedan and was last seen driving northbound along Oxley Drive.

Investigators are appealing for anyone with dashcam vision from the area between 10:50pm and 11:30pm to contact police.
