Detectives are searching for a man who robbed an adult store on Wynnum Road in Cannon Hill on Tuesday night, Queensland Police say.
Just before 6pm the man threatened a staff member with a knife before demanding she hand over money from the till.
The employee complied with his demands and he fled the store with a sum of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm tall, aged in his late 20s with a medium build, fair complexion and wavy short ginger hair.
Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact police.
