Armed robbery in East Brisbane, QLD

Police are investigating following the robbery of a service station in East Brisbane overnight, Queensland Police say.

Initial investigations indicate at about 11.30pm a man attended the Lytton Road store and threatened a staff member with a pair of scissors demanding cash.

The male staff member complied and the man left the store with a sum of cash. He was last seen headed toward Mowbray Park.

The staff member was not injured during the incident and the man is described as 160cm tall with a slim build and Caucasian in appearance.

Police are appealing for anyone that has dashcam footage of Lytton Road between 11.15 and 11:45pm to contact Crime Stoppers.
