Arrest and Charges - Suspicious Bush Fire - Ludmilla

Northern Territory Police are have arrested a 45-year-old male in relation to a suspicious bush fire in Ludmilla that occurred on Tuesday 22 October, 2019.

The fire engulfed bushland between Bagot Road, Fitzer Drive, Dick Ward Drive and Totem Road in Ludmilla.

On Tuesday 29 October, 2019 Serious Crime Squad Detectives from Operation Paringa arrested the man who has been charged with:

1 x Person cause a bushfire

The man has been bailed and will appear in the Darwin Local Court on Tuesday 3 December, 2019.

Lighting a bushfire is a serious crime that carries 15 years imprisonment.
