Detectives from Casey Crime Investigation Unit have arrested a man following a series of incidents in Cranbourne on Friday (9 February), Victoria Police say.
Investigators believe a man driving an allegedly stolen car crashed into a road sign on Monahans Road shortly after 9am.
The 36-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested today and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
A firearm was also recovered during the course of the investigation.
