Police arrested a man last night in connection with a shooting incident at Para Hills in December.
About 2.45pm on Monday 1 December, police were called to Liberman Road, Para Hills after reports of a disturbance in the street.
When police arrived, they discovered a shot had been fired into a parked car and its tyres had been slashed.
There were no reports of injuries.
A 20-year-old Munno Para man was arrested nearby and charged with possessing ammunition, carrying an article of disguise, affray and hindering police. He was refused bail and appeared in court in December.
Two other people were arrested during a search of a nearby house by Youth and Street Gang Detectives. A 25-year-old man from Para Hills and an 18-year-old woman from Salisbury East were arrested and charged with hindering police. The man was refused bail and appeared in court in December, while the woman was bailed to appear in court on 9 February.
Last night, following further investigations, Youth and Street Gangs Taskforce detectives arrested a 26-year-old Two Wells man and charged him with aggravated affray and failing to answer questions in relation to the driver of a vehicle.
Police searched the man's property and seized ammunition. Officers allegedly found $14,000 cash inside a Toyota Prado and seized the vehicle for further forensic examination.
The arrested man was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.
Police would like to reassure the community that this was not a random incident, it is believed that the involved parties are known to each other.
