Arrest Made in Katherine Domestic Violence Assault

The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 25-year-old male in relation to a serious domestic violence related assault that occurred in Katherine yesterday.

Around 4:10pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of an adult female being physically assaulted by a male believed to be known to her on Callistemon Drive in Katherine East.

Police attended and arrested the offender. The victim was conveyed to Katherine Hospital in a serious condition.

Detectives from Katherine Criminal Investigation Branch are seeking assistance from the pubic to obtain any CCTV or dashcam footage from the vicinity of Callistemon Drive between 3:30pm and 4:30pm on Friday 12 December 2025.
