Arrests Made After South Brighton Break-in

Two youths have been arrested as police investigate a series of break-ins at South Brighton this morning.

Just before 5am, police were called to a Folkestone Road home following reports of a break-in while occupants were asleep inside.

Patrols attended and searched the area on foot, quickly locating two suspects hiding in the front yard of a nearby address.

It will be alleged that the pair were found in possession of various items of interest, including balaclavas and property stolen from nearby homes and parked vehicles.

A 13-year-old boy from Paradise and a 15-year-old boy from Henley Beach South are expected to be charged with a series of offences later today.

Southern District detectives and crime scene investigators are attending the scene.
