Arrests Made in Alice Springs Aggravated Burglary 3 August

The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested four youth offenders in relation to an aggravated burglary in Alice Springs last night.

Around 10:45pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of intruders on the premises of a business in the East Side area.

CCTV later identified five offenders inside the premises but it is not yet known if any property was stolen.

The offenders fled however a 12-year-old male and 15-year-old male were arrested and conveyed home into the care of a responsible adult pending further investigation.

The group identified in CCTV were then observed on the roof of a premises in Todd Street.

Four youth offenders - two 14-year-old males, a 16-year-old male and a 14-year-old female - were identified and arrested.
