Arrests Made in Dandenong Home Invasion

Police have arrested five males as part of an investigation into an aggravated home invasion in Dandenong on 17 August.

It's alleged just after 11am five offenders attended a property on Steven Street in a vehicle.

Three offenders entered the premises armed with machetes, threatening the one occupant before stealing various personal items from one of the rooms then leaving.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

On 27 August officers from Southern Metro Region Crime Squad with assistance from western units executed three search warrants and arrested four males.

A 23-year-old Dandenong North man was arrested during a warrant at an address on Sylvia Street.

He has been charged with aggravated home invasion and possess weapon and remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 19 November.

A second warrant was executed at a property at Magpie Street in Mount Pleasant arresting two males.

A 23-year-old Mount Pleasant man has been charged with aggravated home invasion, possess weapon and possess drug of dependence and remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 19 November.

A 21-year-old Mount Pleasant man has been charged with handle stolen goods and posses a drug of dependence and bailed to appear at Ballarat Magistrates' Court on 19 November.

A third warrant was executed at a property on Gillies Street in Wendouree arresting one male.

A 19-year-old Wendouree man has been charged with aggravated home invasion and possess weapon and remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 19 November.

A fourth search warrant was executed today at a property on Chapeton Way in Werribee with one man arrested.

A 22-year-old man has been charged with aggravated home invasion and possess weapon and remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
