Arts and Culture 2021 Covid Interruption Support re-opened

The Territory Labor Government has re-opened the Arts and Culture COVID-19 Interruption Support package for members of the arts and culture sector adversely affected by COVID-19 restrictions across Greater Darwin and the Municipality of Katherine.

The Arts and Culture 2021 COVID-19 Interruption Support provides urgent relief to assist artists, arts workers and organisations impacted by lockdown measures.

Funding will assist with losses incurred by the cancellation of events and activities, including Darwin Festival performances, theatre productions, and live music gigs.

For Territory artists, arts workers and arts organisations booked for Darwin Festival, up to $2000 is available for individuals and $6000 for organisations.

For Territory artists, arts workers and arts organisations not part of Darwin Festival, up to $1000 is available for individuals and $4000 for organisations.

Organisations with an annual turnover of $75,000 and over should apply under the Territory Small Business Lockdown Payment Program.

The interruption support grants will assist with income or fees lost from cancelled work such as presentations and performances, including incurred travel and venue hire.

Applications and guidelines are available via grantsnt.nt.gov.au.

Applications open 12 noon Tuesday 17 August 2021 and will close 13 September 2021.

Applicants will be notified within 10 working days of submitting a complete application.
