Arts Sustainability Fund recipients announced

Five leading arts organisations will share in over $6.2 million from the Australian Government's $50 million COVID-19 Arts Sustainability Fund, to support ongoing viability following the impacts of the pandemic.

The Australian Ballet School and Circa Contemporary Circus are the newest recipients, along with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Sydney Theatre Company and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra each receiving a second grant from the Fund. The grants will support ongoing sustainability and viability.

The COVID-19 Arts Sustainability Fund provides direct financial assistance to significant Australian Government-funded arts and culture organisations to support continued operations, resume classes and plan a pathway to recovery from the ongoing effects of COVID-19.

Over $6.5 million remains in the Fund, which is still open and accepting applications until 31 May 2022, subject to allocation of funds.
