An Ashburton woman was on her way to resign from work when we called to confirm her exciting $1 million win in last night's Weekday Windfall draw.
The Melburnian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4740, drawn Monday 10 August 2026. She looks forward to $1 million.
"Oh my god! I need to pull over!" she exclaimed when speaking to us.
"Oh my god! Oh my god! I'm shaking. I feel so scared!
"I haven't slept since 2am last night after I checked the ticket. I'm actually on my way to work but I'll be handing in my resignation!
"It doesn't feel real. I'm too scared to even look at my app.

"I've told my children and one of them said to me, 'Is this some sort of bad joke?', and I said, 'No! No! I haven't slept!'.

When asked how she planned to embrace her new chapter as a millionaire, the grateful mum said she was most looking forward to sharing more time with her precious family.
"Now that I'll be resigning from work, I can spend more time with family. It's more than I could ever imagine!" she shared.
