Ashurst advised Arkéa REIM, acting on behalf of SCI Territoires Avenir, on the acquisition of a portfolio of six Carrefour supermarkets located across several French regions (Wingles, Villers-Cotterêts, Buzançais, Vonnas, Le Coteau, and La Souterraine). This strategic transaction enables Arkéa REIM to strengthen its exposure to the food retail sector, a segment recognized for its resilience and its essential role in serving local communities.
Through this acquisition, Arkéa REIM consolidates its investment strategy in assets with high social utility, strong local anchoring, and stable rental income generation. The renewal of leases for a firm six-year term with Carrefour, a leading player in the retail sector, secures long-term rental flows while supporting territorial coverage and access to local services. This transaction also demonstrates Arkéa REIM's commitment to sustainable operations and to offering solutions adapted to evolving consumer habits, notably through the development of drive-through services.
