ASIC is aware of recent public reports and commentary relating to an ASIC investigation in relation to various Clime entities.
ASIC has commenced a preliminary investigation in respect of the Clime Australian Income Fund (Fund) and compliance of the target market determination and product disclosure statement with the law, and whether there have been breaches of the law in relation to the investments of the Fund. As Clime Asset Management Pty Limited is the investment manager of the Fund it is a subject in ASIC's investigation.
Clime Asset Management Pty Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clime Investment Management Limited. Neither Clime Capital Limited nor Clime Investment Management Limited are subjects in this investigation.
As ASIC's investigation is in its preliminary stage, the scope may change.
