Assault and robbery, Stones Corner

Park detectives investigating an alleged assault and robbery at a Stones Corner business in May have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigations, Queensland Police say.

Shortly before 5pm on May 25 a man entered the Logan Road business and tried on several gold chains before allegedly trying leave the store without paying for one of the chains.

Three men attempted to stop the man leaving the store during which time two of them, a 23-year-old employee and a 35-year-old customer were allegedly assaulted during a struggle with the man.

The man fled on foot with the stolen necklace and was last seen heading south along Logan Road towards Cornwall Street.

Anyone who may recognise the man – who is described as Caucasian, approximately 190cms tall with a proportionate build – is asked to contact police (details below).
