Police have charged a man and a woman following an investigation into an assault at Deeragun yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.
It will be alleged a 41-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman attended a Bradford Street address and assaulted a 49-year-old local woman.
It will be further alleged a 16-year-old boy was assaulted by the man, and sustained a laceration to his head.
The 49-year-old woman and 16-year-old boy were transported to Townsville Hospital for treatment.
While at the scene, police will allege they observed damage to the property and a vehicle.
A 41-year-old Jensen man is scheduled to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court today charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and three counts of wilful damage.
A 44-year-old Burdell woman is scheduled to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court today charged with three counts each of assault occasioning bodily harm and wilful damage.
