Police have released CCTV vision as part of an appeal to help identify a person who could assist investigations into an assault in Toowoomba on 2 December.
Investigations indicate around 3.50pm, a man was walking northbound along Ruthven Street near the intersection of James Street when he was assaulted from behind by an unknown man.
The offender was then observed fleeing the scene in a white Toyota Hilux utility heading northbound on Ruthven Street at around 3.55pm towards the CBD.
A 21-year-old Holland Park man sustained non-life-threatening head injuries and was transported to Toowoomba Hospital.
Investigators are appealing to witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from between 3.45pm and 4pm near the intersection of Ruthven Street and James Street, or anyone who has observed the white Toyota Hilux, to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
