Assault investigation in Graceville, QLD

Two men are in custody after a man was assaulted in Graceville earlier today.

Police were called to the Graceville Train Station at 10.45am following reports there had been an altercation between a group of men on the train.

One of the men, a 24-year-old, sustained injuries to his abdomen and chest and has been transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers located two men in the Brisbane CBD around 11.45am and they are both assisting police with their enquiries.

Investigations are continuing.
