Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm, South Brisbane

Queensland Police have arrested a man following the alleged assault of a bus driver at Southbank in Brisbane on Friday night.

It will be alleged the 21-year-old assaulted the 46-year-old bus driver shortly after 6pm Friday, June 20 at the Southbank bus station.

The matter was reported to police on Saturday afternoon.

Dutton Park Criminal Investigation Branch detectives attended a Station Road address in Sunnybank last night where the 21-year-old was arrested.

He has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning, June 23.

Investigations into the incident continue and anyone with information or footage, who has not made contact yet, is asked to contact police.
