Northern Territory Police are working with the Borroloola community to address ongoing disturbances.
Between Sunday 16 January and Tuesday 19 January 2021, Borroloola police charged 12 adults with assault and other offences in relation to fighting in the community. All 12 were bailed and the matters will be dealt with in the local court.
Superintendent Kirk Pennuto said, "I would like to thank the officers in Borroloola who have been working together with community leaders.
"The community members have expressed their appreciation towards the police for the proactive approach to this issue."
