Assistance sought to identify girl found in Sydney's south

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a girl found in Sydney's south this afternoon.

A member of the public found the girl, believed to be aged in her early teens, wondering on the road on Station Street, near Rockdale Street, Rockdale, about 5pm (Monday 3 May 2021).

Officers from St George Police Area Command attended and have commenced inquiries to identify her.

She is described as being about 160cm tall, of thin build, with short curly black hair, wearing a pink and white off shoulder dress and no shoes.

The girl is non-verbal and has not been able to identify herself to police or provide any clues about her identity or home address.
