Attempt robbery - Torrensville, South Australia

Police area searching for a silver blue Alpha Romeo after a woman attempted to rob service station at Torrensville tonight.

At about 9.40pm on Sunday 15 March, a woman armed with a knife entered a service station on Henley Beach Road and threatened the attendant demanding cash.

The woman however left empty handed.

The woman described as of Caucasian appearance, aged between 50 and 60-years-old about 170cms, wearing a blue vest, a grey hat and glasses, was last seen driving off in a late model silver blue Alpha Romeo.

Western District Police patrols are investigating, anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
