Attempted Armed Robbery And Wounding, Bowen Hills

Police are investigating following an attempted robbery and wounding in Bowen Hills this morning 15 March.

About 12.15am police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Cowlishaw Street and Montpelier Road following reports two men in a white 4WD have approached a 41-year-old man walking home and demanded money. One of the men has then stabbed him in the arm with an unknown object before both men fled the scene in the 4WD.

The victim was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury to his arm.

The men were described as Caucasian in their early 20's.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or CCTV which could assist the investigation to come forward.
