Attempted armed robbery, Mount Warren Park

Police have released vision of a man they wish to speak with in relation to the attempted armed robbery of Mount Warren Park shop on Sunday night, Queensland Police say.

Around 8.50pm, a man entered the business on Mount Warren Boulevard armed with a knife and demanded money from a staff member.

The armed man then approached a second person inside the store demanding a sum of cash.

Both victims refused to hand over money and the man fled on foot.

He was last seen wearing a black balaclava, black jumper and holding a large knife.

Anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident – or who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour – is urged to contact police.
