Police have charged a Browns Plains man following an alleged break and enter in Rochedale this morning, 19 August.
It will be alleged about 11.30am, police were called to a Platypus Circuit address to reports an armed man was attempting to enter a property.
Upon police arrival the man fled on foot and was tracked to Lorisch Way where he attempted to gain entry to a second property but was taken into custody.
A 45-year-old Browns Plains man has since been charged with eight offences including two counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent and one count each of possessing dangerous drugs and possession of a knife in a public place.
He is expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, 20 August.
