Attempted murder charge, Tablelands

A 39-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of attempted murder.

It will be alleged two children sustained stabs wounds during a disturbance at a Tablelands property on January 25.

The woman, and the two children, were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The woman was arrested and charged on January 31 and appeared in the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 2, where she was remanded in custody to reappear on April 13.

All three were known to each other.
