A man has been charged with attempted murder after a domestic incident in Clare last night.
About 7.10pm on Thursday 8 April police were called to a home in Clare after reports of a violent disturbance. When police arrived they found the victim, a 39-year-old woman with a stab wound to the neck, and a 42-year-old man with stab wounds to abdomen. Both parties are known to each other.
The victim was taken to the Clare Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries where he remains. He has been charged with attempt murder, threats to kill and aggravated assault. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today via bed-side hearing.
