Attempted Murder, Yarrabilba

Police have charged a woman over the attempted murder of a 10-year-old girl at Yarrabilba on 12 March.

It will be alleged that on 16 March, police were notified that a 43-year-old woman had administered poison to herself and a 10-year-old girl who was known to her, causing both to become sick and vomit.

The woman remained in hospital and was released into police custody yesterday.

She has been remanded in custody to reappear before Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 12 May.
