Attempted robbery appeal, Browns Plains

Police are seeking public assistance to help identify a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries into an attempted robbery in Browns Plains on September 29.

Just after 7pm the offender (pictured below) approached a 28-year-old Holland Park man who had parked his car outside a shopping precinct on Wembley Road, Browns Plains.

The offender produced a knife and demanded the man hand over his phone before stealing his car keys. Two witnesses disrupted the offender before he dropped the keys and ran from the scene.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 176cm tall, with light/blonde hair. He was wearing a black jumper and black trousers.

Anyone who may recognise the man pictured below, or who has any information in relation to the incident, is urged to contact police.
