Attempted robbery at Dandenong

Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify two people following an attempted robbery at a shopping centre in Dandenong on 23 November, Victoria Police say.

Police have been told a man and a woman approached a man on level three at the shopping centre on the corner of McCrae and Walker Streets about 4.45pm.

The man made threats to the victim and demanded that he hand over his mobile phone.

The victim, a man aged in his 20s, did not hand over the phone and the female pulled the offender away.

The male offender is described as having short dark hair, no teeth, 190cm tall with a thin build.

Investigators have released an image of a man and a woman that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
