Detectives from Redcliffe CIB have charged a man after a series of alleged attempted robberies last month.
Just before 12.45pm on 23 January, a white Volkswagen Polo crashed on Ted Smout Memorial Bridge on the Houghton Highway.

Both the motorcycle rider and driver of the Mazda sustained minor injuries and declined transport to hospital.
Police located the Mazda abandoned on the corner of Ridgegarden Drive and Jarad Street in Morayfield around 7.20pm on 27 January.
Subsequent investigations led detectives to locate a 33-year-old Caboolture man at a motel on Denver Road in Carseldine around 8.15am yesterday, 5 February.
Following negotiations with the man over a period of time, he was arrested and charged with 11 offences including three counts of attempted robbery, two counts of unlawful entry of a vehicle for committing an indictable offence, and one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, robbery, unlawful entry for committing an indictable offence, driving without a licence, possessing dangerous drugs and failure to take reasonable care of a syringe.
He is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 6 February.
