Attorney-General Yvette D'Ath has decided to appeal the sentence of Rogelio Acosta Ruiz on the basis it is manifestly inadequate.
"After thoroughly considering the advice I've received from the Director of Public Prosecutions on this matter, I've decided to appeal," Mrs D'Ath said.
