South Australia’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for August remained steady at 5.7 per cent.
Today’s ABS unemployment figures for August indicate there is still a great deal of work to be done to provide South Australians with the employment opportunities they need and want," said Minister for Industry and Skills David Pisoni.

"Today’s figures indicate that more hours are being worked which matches the surveys that indicate increased business confidence in South Australia.

"Today’s ABS jobs figures highlight the importance of the Labor Opposition supporting the Marshall Government’s first State Budget.
