Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund helps local clubs build for the future

Victorian cricket clubs are set to benefit from $1.2 million in funding for key projects in 2025, through the latest round of Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) grants delivered in partnership with Cricket Australia.

A total of 57 projects were funded in season 2024-25, generating more than $45 million in partnered investment with Federal, State and Local Governments as well as clubs and schools.

Since the ACIF program launched in 2019, Cricket Victoria has generated more than $300 million in partnered investment for Victorian cricket, across all three levels of government.

Cricket Victoria CEO, Nick Cummins said the ACIF continued to be strongly supported in Victoria.

"Since 2019, Cricket Victoria has helped drive more than $300 million in facility investments, supported by government backing through the ACIF program," Cummins said.

"We're proud to be leading the way nationally and will continue working closely with our clubs to keep cricket accessible for all Victorians."

Cricket Australia Head of Infrastructure, Fiona Baxter said Cricket Australia is proud to continue supporting infrastructure development by investing in new and upgraded facilities through the ACIF.

"Cricket Australia is pleased to join with Cricket Victoria to deliver the ACIF in Victoria across the 2025/26 season."

"Cricket Australia looks forward to building upon the close working relationship with Cricket Victoria to ensure the successful delivery of more projects throughout Victoria over the coming year."

Cricket Victoria Local Government and Infrastructure Manager, Callum Dean reinforced the importance of facilities as a key asset for the continued growth of Victorian cricket.

"By investing in both new and upgraded spaces, we're building the foundations necessary for Victorian cricket to succeed well into the future."
