Aust Gov statistics release March quarter 2018 AFSA

There were 1,390 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in Greater Sydney in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Campbelltown (NSW) (81), Wyong (77) and Mount Druitt (74).

There were 1,005 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in rest of New South Wales in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Newcastle (54), Coffs Harbour (45) and Wagga Wagga (44).

Victoria

There were 1,007 debtors who entered new personal insolvencies in Greater Melbourne in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Wyndham (80), Whittlesea - Wallan (63) and Casey - South (57).

There were 372 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in rest of Victoria in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Ballarat (49), Geelong (49), and Bendigo (27).

Queensland

There were 1,090 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in Greater Brisbane in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Springfield - Redbank (82), Ipswich Inner (64) and Springwood - Kingston (62).

There were 1,228 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in rest of Queensland in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Townsville (141), Ormeau - Oxenford (101) and Toowoomba (76).

South Australia

There were 372 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in Greater Adelaide in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Onkaparinga (61), Salisbury (57) and Playford (48).

There were 115 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in rest of South Australia in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Limestone Coast (25), Murray and Mallee (17) and Eyre Peninsula and South West (16).

Western Australia

There were 826 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in Greater Perth in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Wanneroo (117), Rockingham (70) and Swan (69).

The regions with the highest number of debtors in rest of WA were Bunbury (57), Mid West (26) and East Pilbara (22).

Tasmania

There were 81 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in Greater Hobart in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Hobart - North West (32) and Hobart - North East (19).

There were 114 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in rest of Tasmania in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Launceston (28), Burnie - Ulverstone (26) and Devonport (19).

Northern Territory

There were 60 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in Greater Darwin in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Palmerston (28), Darwin Suburbs (18) and Darwin City (10).

There were 27 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in rest of Northern Territory in the March quarter 2018. The region with the highest number of debtors was Alice Springs (18).

Australian Capital Territory

There were 103 debtors who entered a new personal insolvency in the Australian Capital Territory in the March quarter 2018. The regions with the highest number of debtors were Tuggeranong (30), Belconnen (24) and Gungahlin (17).
