The Australia-UK Free Trade Agreement

The Australia-UK Free Trade Agreement include best-in-class provisions for investment, professional services and financial services.

The FTA will help lower barriers to trade and investment, improve efficiency in cross border trade and create new opportunities for companies across several sectors including:

  • banking
  • insurance
  • accountancy
  • auditing
  • architectural
  • engineering
  • legal

Bidders welcome

The UK government is seeking to collaborate with partners to deliver roundtable discussions between UK and Australian companies.

The discussions are centred around the benefits of fully implementing the intentions of the following AU-UK FTA chapters:

Bidders may also wish to consider the following activities as part of their bid:

  • market visits
  • workshops
  • business engagement
  • reporting

Phased outputs

The bidder is required to deliver phased outputs against set timelines (subject to confirmation).

The duration of this project is likely to be three months (January 2023 to April 2024).
