Australian edtech and digital borderless education awareness

The COVID-19 crisis and travel restrictions on many Australian international students highlights the importance of digital platforms to support students and their learning. In response, EduGrowth — Australia's education technology and innovation industry hub, is hosting webinars on the provision of Australian edtech and digital borderless education.

EduGrowth has received many requests from education providers about Australian edtech companies that can support delivery of online education. In response to these requests, EduGrowth is hosting introductory webinars to share details of some great Australian edtech companies with the capacity to help Australian education providers.

On 5 March, Austrade and the Council of Australasian University Directors of Information Technology (CAUDIT) hosted a webinar on delivering online education. Presenters including EduGrowth's Managing Director, David Linke, discussed accessibility, internet speed, and content delivery challenges and opportunities. The webinar was recorded and is now available to view on the StudyinAustralia and CAUDIT websites.

The next webinar will target the K-12 Schools sector and will be delivered on 24 March at 4pm (AEDT).

Amidst the current uncertainty, this webinar will discuss opportunities for the schools sector to provide educational security and continuity to students nationally and internationally through Australian edtech. Participants can learn about Australian edtech solutions to support digital borderless access to student support, course delivery and content, and assessment.
