The Swan Hill Town Hall Performing Arts Centre this week has received news that the Australian Stars of Ballet performance has been cancelled indefinitely due to recent COVID outbreaks in Victoria.
Swan Hill Town Hall Performing Arts and Marketing Officer, Sharon Brinkman said she was disappointed that the show had been cancelled, but would work alongside organisers to hopefully secure the show in the future.
"This was a really exciting show for the region, particularly with the involvement of local ballet students. And I know a lot of people were looking forward to it.
"This is unfortunately a sign of the time we are in and we need to understand everyone is doing the best they can.
"We will continue to work hard to bring quality shows to Swan Hill and work around COVID-restrictions where we can," Ms Brinkman said.
The Australian Stars of Ballet performance was scheduled for Thursday, 10 June 2021 at 7.30pm. Individual tickets holders will be contacted directly and a refund of tickets issued.
