Australia's Submarine Vision Unveiled at INDOPAC 2025

The Australian Submarine Agency will be front and centre at Indo-Pacific International Maritime Exposition(Opens in a new tab/window) (INDOPAC), showcasing Australia's growing sovereign nuclear-powered submarine program.

Running 4-6 November at the Sydney International Convention Centre, INDOPAC is Australia's premier maritime defence event, bringing together key defence and maritime stakeholders from around the world.

INDOPAC offers an invaluable opportunity for industry leaders, academics, workforce representatives, and innovators to connect with ASA on the strategic and technical aspects of Australia's nuclear-powered submarine enterprise.

ASA will deliver a series of presentations and panel discussions at INDOPAC on Tuesday 4 November (Opens in a new tab/window) and Wednesday 5 November(Opens in a new tab/window) highlighting progress across the Optimal Pathway. Key sessions will cover Submarine Rotational Force - West, nuclear safety, low-level radioactive waste management, and strategic opportunities under AUKUS with updates from senior leaders and experts across the enterprise.

ASA will also have a custom-built exhibition stand that will serve as a hub for engagement, offering visitors a chance to explore the agency's mission, meet subject-matter experts, and learn more about the future of Australia's submarine capability. The stand will feature interactive displays and insights into ASA's stewardship responsibilities in nuclear safety and security.

ASA will also have a presence at the Navy Life Expo(Opens in a new tab/window) to connect with student and young people about career opportunities across Defence and the nuclear-powered submarine enterprise.
