Author Ross McMullin to speak in Kilmore

Australian history buffs are invited to join renowned author Ross McMullin in Kilmore as he speaks about his novel, Pompey Elliott At War: In His Own Words.

The author talk is at Kilmore Customer and Library Service Centre on Wednesday 6 November from 5.30pm.

Mr McMullin will speak about Australian General, Harold Edward 'Pompey' Elliott, who fought in the Boer War and First World War including the Gallipoli campaign.

Pompey Elliott At War: In His Own Words is Mr McMullin's enthralling book about Australia's most famous fighting general, whose brilliant and vigorous leadership was crucial in iconic Australian triumphs such as Villers-Bretonneux and Polygon Wood.

Mr McMullin is an award-winning biographer and an entertaining speaker.

Signed copies of Pompey Elliott At War: In His Own Wordswill be available to purchase, with snacks and light refreshments also served on the night.
