ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

Showers and thunderstorms are producing heavy rainfall in a moist environment through southern parts of the NT this morning.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.

Locations which may be affected include Alice Springs and Arltunga.
