Bad sports on court at East Ivanhoe

Heidelberg police are appealing for public assistance following damage to tennis courts in East Ivanhoe during the Easter weekend, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told an unknown offender has gained access to courts at a tennis club on The Boulevard sometime between 10am on Sunday 16 April and 7am Monday 17 April.

Once on court, it’s believed the bad sport used a motorcycle to damage the court surface by doing ‘donuts’ and colliding with the net.

The offenders not only damaged the court, but it’s believed they also damaged the motorcycle with some of its parts being located in the car park.

Investigators have released images of the damage to the courts and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
