Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Section 206 of the Local Government Act 1989, the laneway at the rear of 393 to 411 Wattletree Road in Malvern East is proposed to be named Bakehouse Lane.
The shops at 143-145 and 147 Burke Road, Malvern East, were erected in 1921. They comprised three brick shops of two storeys, two of which were residential, and one was a lockup shop. A brick bakehouse and stables at the rear of the shops, at what is now 35-35A Irymple Avenue, were erected later the same year.
