Bakery robbed, NSW

A man has been arrested after a bakery was robbed at Mount Annan overnight, NSW Police say.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command were called to a shopping centre on Main Street, about 7pm (Sunday 4 November 2018), following the robbery.

Police were told two unarmed men entered the business, one of the men distracted staff, while the other man went behind the counter and allegedly stole a sum of cash and ran from the scene.

PolAir were called to assist with the search for the men.

Police arrested a 33-year-old man, in the backyard of a home nearby.

He was taken to Narellan Police Station to assist with inquiries.

The other man has not yet been found.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information is urged to come forward.
