Ballina Shire Mayor Responds to Bondi Beach Attack

On behalf of staff and councillors, Ballina Shire Council Mayor Sharon Cadwallader sends her heartfelt condolences to the families and loves ones affected by the devastating attack at Bondi on Sunday.

We thank the first responders and the immediate community members who risked their own lives to save others.

We extend our support and solidarity to the affected communities in Sydney, NSW and here in Ballina Shire.

Now more than ever, we must stand firmly against hatred, intolerance and violence in all its forms. Our community is one of compassion, inclusion and respect.
