Ballina Shire Stormwater Drainage Program

Ballina Shire Council, as part of its capital works program, will commence rehabilitation works on stormwater drainage pipes in Ballina and Lennox Head from Sunday 27 June 2021.

The works will take place in various locations and involve accessing stormwater pipes through existing manholes, cleaning, root cutting and in some cases, the relining of pipes.

There will be machinery and trucks operating, with varying noise levels, and this will be kept to a minimum.

To minimise disruption to traffic, some works will be undertaken at night in high traffic areas. These works will be carried out from 6pm to 6am. Residents adjacent to the night works will receive a notification in their letter box advising the dates of works.

For further information, details on site locations and commencement dates, please refer to Council's website at ballina.nsw.gov.au/StormwaterRelining.
