East Gippsland Shire Council advises of some minor changes to parking near Bank Jetty, Lakes Entrance.
The two 30-minute parking bays near the jetty were closed and bollards installed on Tuesday, April 23 to ensure work site safety and provide additional egress for pedestrians during seawall replacement works.
Two parallel parking bays immediately to the east of the work site have been converted to 30-minute parking to facilitate loading / unloading to the jetty.
Council's contractor has made these changes and they take effect immediately.
All other parking remains unaltered and the contractor has advised commercial boat operators with moorings on Bank Jetty.
These changes are in place for the duration of construction only.
