An iconic Australian TV show will be back on our screens thanks to the Albanese Government.
Bananas in Pyjamas will return as a live action series thanks to the Albanese Government's $50 million investment in the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) to produce local children's and drama content.
The adaptation of the beloved children's series is the first production to be confirmed under the Albanese Government's funding announced late last year.
The funding will be delivered to the ABC over three years from 2026-27 - enabling more locally relevant drama and children's programs showcasing Australian talent and creativity to be made and enjoyed.
